"MIRAMICHI MUDFEST 2008" will be a full day of events for the whole family to enjoy. It will include an ATV Mud Bog, ATV Drag Racing, ATV Sled Pull and more. The day will also include a Dealer Show and activities for the kids.
HIGHLIFTER MUD BOG DRAG RACING Miramichi MudFest 2008 RULES ? Miramichi Off-Road ATV Club reserves the right to makes decisions as it ? Participants may push their ATV if they become stuck. There is no one foot ? No person but the rider may touch the participating ATV during the race. ? Boundaries of the mud bog will be clearly marked with flags, stakes, ? If a rider commits a false start, (leaving the gate early) this rider will be ? DOT approved helmets must be worn. ? Shoes must be worn during any Mud Bog Competition. No sandals or ? All ATVs entered in this event must have a means of attaching a tow ? Rider must hook up their own tow line. ? Riders must be at least 16 to enter this event. ? All entrants must sign a waiver in advance releasing Miramichi Off-Road ? If a rider registers for the wrong class that rider will be moved to the ? In the event that any participant is observed operating his machine in an ? Entrants may enter any class that they are not disqualified from entering. ? All classes are open to both men and women for which their machine qualifies. ? IRS and SRA ATVs will compete against each other. In this type of mud pit ? Miramichi Off-Road ATV Club reserves the right for its staff to participate ? There must be at least 3 entrants in any class to run. ? All rules are subject to modification as needed to promote fairness in the competition. ? Only one participant will be allowed per ATV per event. Miramichi MUDFEST 2008 Classes Open Class – Any ATV or RUV (side X side) may participate. All ATVs must run ATV tires (tires specifically designed and marketed for ATV use). Paddle tires or tracks designed and marketed for ATVs will be allowed to run in this class. Participants may custom cut their tires as long as the tire is an approved ATV tire for the event. Axle paddles, wheel paddles and dual wheels will not be allowed in this class. Any engine modification can be made, but the engine must be an ATV engine. Motorcycle, snowmobile or other engine conversion is not allowed. The ATV cannot exceed 6’6” in width and 8’6” in length.

This class is designed for ATVs 701cc (from the factory) and up to race with what is considered traditional or standard mud racing accessories readily available to the average rider. Any ATV entered in this class that is determined by the judges to exceed this description will be moved up to the first appropriate class.
B Class – The B Class will include all ATVs 600cc – 700cc. Both IRS and SRA style ATVs will run in this class. All ATVs must run ATV tires (tires specifically designed and marketed for ATV use). RUV – This will be an open class with the same rules that apply to the ATV Open Class. This class can carry a passenger. The passenger must wear the same safety gear and must be at least 16 years old. The passenger must stay in the RUV during the race and the same rules apply for pushing. If the RUV becomes stuck or is about to turn over, the passenger may assist in preventing the roll over and may assist in getting the RUV moving again but may not push once forward progress begins. The judge’s decision on this will be final.
